WARM WEATHER CLOTHING BASE

These are the base items I wear during warmer weather.

THRIFT STORE SHORT SLEEVE BUTTON UP

I like wearing collared shirts (short & long sleeve) when on trail. They offer a lot of versatility like the ability to unbutton them to vent and regulate body temperature, popping the collar for sun protection and for your arms when wearing a longsleeve one. This particular shirt is my favorite ever and I'm sad that its showing signs of death. Its literally tissue paper thin and 100% see thru. Its 1 size up from what I normally wear making it nice and airy and extremely comfortable. Its 75% poly / 25% cotton and was $1 at the thrift store. 3.4oz

NEW BALANCE RUNNING SHORTS

They are really short, show my extremely white thighs, dry fast, are nice and airy and cost like $5 from Marshals some years ago. They say that cutting the liner out cuts down on chaffing, the liner is cut out of these and I've never had a chaffing problem so whoever says that must be right. 3.2oz

OUTDOOR RESEARCH SWIFT CAP

Its a hat! I like hats. I wear hats. I also kind of need it for my headlight to actually function as a headlight (see gear list). 2oz

100% NYLON SOCKS

Took me awhile to jump on the thin nylon dress sock hype train. I wanted to believe that Darn Tough socks were the best thing for my feet, and to be honest, I have never had a problem with them but now I see the light with nylon. They dry a million times faster and keep my seemingly always sweaty feet dry-er. I have never had a problem with blisters so I wasn't worried about a change up in that regard. They feel great and surprisingly hold up very well, no holes in them yet.

ALTRA LONE PEAK 3.0

Good shoe, backed hard. The end.
